Mother and I lucked out on our way home from Portland. It was opening day at Northland Dairy Treat…our favorite ice cream shop, located in Turner, Maine. I ordered the usual: Cyclone (think DQ Blizzard) with Heath candy. Mother ordered Gifford’s chocolate chip ice cream. Yum all around!
